SmarTrack utilises the satellite based GPS system for vehicle location. This enables the 24hr secure operating centre to pinpoint your vehicles exact location within seconds. Unlike other tracking devices, SmarTrack can be transferred from one vehicle to another by any SmarTrack approved engineer.

The Protector + incorporates a movement sensor, which detects unauthorised movement of your vehicle. The unit is covertly installed on the vehicle and does not require any involvement from the owner. You would use the vehicle as normal. There are no signs of any installation so a potential thief would not be able to tell if SmarTrack was fitted.

If the vehicle is stolen (illegally moved) a signal is sent to the SmarTrack Secure Operating Centre who will in turn call the owner to confirm a possible theft. If the theft is confirmed, SmarTrack can begin to track the vehicle live.

The Protector+ is fitted with its own battery back up system; if your vehicle battery was to go flat or be disconnected SmarTrack will call and alert you of this.

If your vehicle is stolen you would need to obtain an incident/crime number from your local Police and pass this to the 24hr SmarTrack Secure Operating Centre. SmarTrack will then establish the location of the stolen vehicle using satellite based GPS technology and highly detailed mapping screens. We then liaise with the Police, security and recovery services. We will provide regular location updates as necessary until your asset is located and recovered.

Once located SmarTrack will arrange for a security guard to wait with the vehicle until recovery can be arranged.

Alert 24 Key Guard works the same as the Protector+ system above.

The Alert24 system incorporates a coded remote control “KEY GUARD” linked to the movement sensor which detects unauthorised movement of the vehicle.
Before you drive off in this Alert 24 fitted vehicle you will need to enter a code number into the remote to confirm that its you driving and all is ok (driver recognition) the code can be of any 4 digit sequence of your choice.
